Welcome to Pango.Network (the "Platform"). The Platform is a genomic surveillance and analysis platform for SARS-CoV-2, operated by the Pango Network ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Platform, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Scope of Services

The Platform provides tools and resources for the analysis of genomic data related to SARS-CoV-2 for research, academic, and public health purposes. The services are provided "as is" and are subject to change without notice.

2. User Obligations and Representations

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal right and authority to upload any data to the Platform.
• Any data you upload has been collected in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to privacy and data protection.
• You have obtained all necessary consents for the use of the data as described in these Terms.

3. Data License and Use

In order to provide our services and contribute to the scientific community, we require a license to use the data you upload. By uploading any data, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to:

• Use, reproduce, and analyze the data for research, development, and public health purposes.
• Share the data with our research partners and the broader scientific community.
• Incorporate the data into our databases and analysis tools.

4. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the Platform, including software, text, graphics, and logos, are the property of the Pango Network or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the services. In no event shall we be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Platform.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Pango Network is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
